Parents of players that tried out for the U9 and U10 Storm teams should have received an e-mail message with the final rosters. Players who made the team will be listed on the rosters.
We are unfortunately limited to 14 players for each team, so we had to cut a few players from each squad. If your son or daughter did not make the team, the Barrington Rec Dept's fall soccer program is a good option. The BSC plans to work with the Rec Dept to make their fall program as strong as possible. In addition, the BSC encourages its players to play for the Rec teams as time permits.
Both the U11 and U12 teams are short players.
We could form the U11 team with its current 8 players, but that would leave us with no subs and subject to potential fines if more than two players miss a game. It's still possible to run the team with that number, but players and parents would have to be committed to making every game. In any event, recruiting is our best option, so please spread the word.
The U12 team had 7 players, but we lost one to Rochester, so we are down to 6 players. We need to heavily recruit for this team as well, so please spread the word. We will be posting a flyer for parents who want to post them at schools or other events.
Thanks to everyone for their efforts, and welcome to the Barrington Soccer Club.
