POSTPONED: Tonight's Clinic - Shooting and Goaltending

Tonight's clinic on shooting and goaltending has been postponed due to the thunderstorms in the area. It is currently raining and there is a 50 percent chance of thunder. Since we would have to stop for 30 minutes following any thunder or lightning, we have decided to postpone.

The makeup day is August 15 at 6 pm at Turbocam. Thank you.

BSC Storm U9/U10 Teams Formed

Parents of players that tried out for the U9 and U10 Storm teams should have received an e-mail message with the final rosters. Players who made the team will be listed on the rosters. 

We are unfortunately limited to 14 players for each team, so we had to cut a few players from each squad. If your son or daughter did not make the team, the Barrington Rec Dept's fall soccer program is a good option. The BSC plans to work with the Rec Dept to make their fall program as s...

Summer Skill Clinics Moved to TURBOCAM field

I apologize for the short notice, but the BSC's negotiations with the Middle School for use of their fields have been glacial. As a result, we were not able to get permission to use the fields in time for the next clinic.

Policy Decision: Strict Age Groups

On Thursday, the BSC board voted unanimously to adhere to strict age groups in the formation of teams. This post explains the policy.


For the 2011 season and future seasons, the BSC has adopted a strict policy of no movement between age groups. The U12 team will consist entirely of 11 year olds; the U11 team entirely of 10 year olds; and the U10 team entirely of 9 year olds.
